The CDC recommends that children as young as 6 months of age receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  This is either a series of two shots (Moderna) or three shots (Pfizer).

The CDC has approved the use of a single booster dose for individuals 5 through 11 years of aged at least five months after completion of a primary series with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

The CDC has approved the use of a second booster for individuals 50 years and older provided it has been 4 months since their first booster.
