The little witches, Superheroes, Minions, zombies and princesses will be walking your neighborhood in search of treats very soon.
The weather forecast is for cold weather on Halloween so be sure to bundle up in winter coats or at least have kids wear sweatshirts or sweatpants under their costumes to help keep them warm. Be sure the kids have a flashlight or at least a glowstick when they go out trick-or-treating so they can see and be seen by others. Use crosswalks at street corners and to look out for traffic that may not see them. Discourage kids from eating any treats until they arrive back at home.
Motorists need to pay extra attention for children on Halloween as they can dart out in front of cars without looking or be walking on the roads. Be careful to enter and exit driveways and alleys slowly.
Have a ghoulishly fun and safe Halloween!
