Mini Cooks Contest: Wednesday, July 14 at 3:00 pm at the Fontanelle Shelter

For kids ages 5-10

Rules:

  1. Must be homemade.
  2. Entries should be made on the theme of pizza. Be creative and have fun–think interesting toppings and crusts, veggie pizza, fruit pizza, dessert pizza, pizza rolls, pizza casserole, etc.
  3. Entries must contain at least three of the following:  a protein, dairy product a fruit or vegetable.  We encourage you to use lots of fruits/vegetables in your entry.  Points will be awarded for extra fruits/vegetables.
  4. No entry fee and cash prizes will be awarded as follows:  $25.00 for 1st place; $15.00 for 2nd place and $10.00 for 3rd place.
  5. Arrive up to ½ hour before the judging.
  6. Make enough for 10-12 servings.
  7. Please bring your entry in a disposable container.
  8. Bring the recipe with your name and address on the back.
  9. Small plates, silverware and napkins are provided for the judges.
  10. Recipe and food become the property of Winneshiek County Public Health.
