The National Weather Service (NWS) in La Crosse has released its 2025 Skywarn Storm Spotter training schedule, featuring several in-person training sessions across southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and western/central Wisconsin. In addition to these in-person sessions, two virtual training classes will be offered to accommodate those unable to attend in person.
All training sessions are free and open to the public, with no prior registration required. Skywarn training equips volunteers with the skills needed to identify and report severe weather conditions, contributing to improved public safety and enhanced weather warnings.

- March 4 – Charles City, Iowa
- March 12 – VIRTUAL (Advanced)
- March 13 – Luana, Iowa
- April 1 – Waterville, Iowa
- April 2 – Elma, Iowa
- April 8 – Rochester, Minn.
- April 21 – Spring Valley, Minn.
- April 23 – VIRTUAL (Advanced)
