Winneshiek County Public Health offers the MenB vaccine. We use a 2-dose vaccine series to protect against a type of bacteria called Neisseria meningitides, which can lead to meningitis. This vaccine is available to those 16 years of age and older. Studies have found that MenB vaccine helps to prevent disease caused by serogroup B.
